Top 20 Albums 2011..

Wooh.. it's nice to sit down finally! Such an exciting/hectic few days.. after a weekend full of rehearsals, I flew 6am Monday morning to Paris! Enjoying an amazing 2 days of warm winter weather with two of my oldest,closest friends who now both live there, I ventured up the Eiffel Tower.. (with my suitcase!!) spent a day in Disney Land, which I probably enjoyed far too much for a 22 year old! And generally enjoyed a few days off from everything.. I heard there was plenty of good winter gigs on this weekend.. venture any of them..? worth the cold?

I've cheekily scanned in a Rough Trade Top albums 2011.. For sure some fantastic albums this year.. impressive material and new artists to come out of the u.k and beyond!

Hello..

Hope you've all had a productive week and Christmas shopping is starting to take place?!? I'm already starting to think about summer festivals and warm late evenings... am i mad?

Ok.. A few albums I've been very attached to these last few days arrrre 'Every Kingdom' by Ben howard, such beauty in his lyrics that I relate to and despite a lot of talk regarding his production on the album in-comparison to his original recorded material before he was signed I think is nonsense and people should hush hush and focus on the finished album. Another album i've got my teeth deeply into this week is 'Konkylie' by When Saints Go Machine. Feeling this..?! Particularly 'Parix' and 'Add Ends'.. One for the weekend is Unicorn kid- True, love, fantasy. The whole album is special but true, love, fantasy turned up loud rocks it! Ok.. leaving you short and sweet, please comment and let me know what you are up to over the weekend? I've lots on recording, SHOPPING and packing for my trip to PARIS next week!
